Description

It can be hard to break the Seattle Freeze and meet new people. So we thought, why not take the same premise we use for our most popular event and apply it to friend finding! Join us and we’ll help you find your people! Speed dating is an efficient and fun way to meet and connect with lots of great potential partners through a series of brief dates. Speed friending takes the same concept and applies it to friend finding! You will have three minutes to get to know each of your friends. After three minutes, you’ll move on to the next person. After all your friend dates have concluded, we’ll have an hour-long mingle session where you can interact with all the participants. At the end of the night, you’ll fill out a sheet with the people you'd like to see again and submit it to the hosts. If there are mutual matches, we’ll connect you two. If there are none, then you can try again at the next speed friending event! This event is open to all gender identities and sexual orientations! We welcome all at The Seattle Social Club! The Seattle Social Club caters to those that are ages 24-40. You can expect your new friends to be somewhere in this range. How long does it take? Our speed friending events generally last around three hours with a brief intermission in the middle. We always conclude the night with an hour of mingling at the end so you can learn more about your new friends before making your choices. Whats the schdeul for the night? The schedule is not set in stone, but it follows roughly the following timeline: 6:30pm Checkin 7:00pm Welcome and Introduction Speech 7:10pm First round of dates starts ~8:10pm Intermission ~8:20pm Second round of dates ~8:45pm till close: Open Mingle!
