Calling all Homeschool Coops and individuals. We have created our school year calendar of hands-on, engaging afternoon classes that will be taught in Kindred Creatives Art and Literary Press in Lewisville, TX. This class is all about writing with descriptive detail in a spooky way. Students will learn about mood, author's purpose, and figurative language to help write scary stories inspired by appropriate spooky photos. Students will write a story and then share it out loud at the end at the "campfire". About the Teacher Greetings, my name is Cicely, and am a passionate educator. I am certified in English Language Arts and Reading, English as a Second Language and Special Education. I earned my undergrad degree in Business Administration and a Master's in Educational Leadership. For the past 5 years, I taught High-school English in West Dallas. Before that, I worked with Girl Scouts and an Organization educating people on how to become entrepreneurs. I recently resigned as a school teacher to open a Bookstore called Kindred Creatives Art and Literary Press. There I still teach English and creative classes. I have a passion for art, literacy, and entrepreneurship. I am also a published author.
