Every year, Women in Aviation International host a Girls in Aviation Day all across the world. The Los Angeles Chapter is supporting an event for the first time here in Santa Maria. We will be holding our event at the Artcraft Paint Hangar on the Santa Maria Airport. There will be representatives from Civil Air Patrol, EAA Young Eagles, Vandenberg Space Force Base, Girl Scouts, and PreFlight Aviation Camp. There will fun activities, snacks and a chance to sit in an airplane, tour the tower, and fly a state-of-the-art Skydio Drone. Learn about career fields in aviation and how airplanes fly.
