What: The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System is holding an all-day nursing hiring fair open to anyone interested in serving our nation’s heroes. Positions are open at the hospital, the Eugene J. Towbin VA Medical Center in North Little Rock, Fort Roots, and at each of our eight Community Based Outpatient Clinics. When: Saturday, August 27, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Where: 4300 W. 7th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas. Candidates will be greeted at the north entrance to the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital. Who: The fair is open to Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs). Note: Applicants will register in the north entry way to the hospital. Stations for qualification analysis, interviews, physicals, credentialing, fingerprinting, pathology & lab, and National Patient Safety Board will be set up throughout the facility. CAVHS is seeking nurses for acute care, critical care, Community Living Center, mental health, ambulatory care, the Emergency Department, and surgery. Required Documents: 1. Resume 2. Written references with contact information (must include at least 2 references (one current supervisor and one past supervisor). Three references is preferable. 3. Two (2) types of government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, social security card) 4. Proof of COVID-19
