Happy Fall Y’all Celebrate the season steps from the sand at the 2nd Annual Pumpkins & Palm Trees Fall Fest returns to the LOOP. Throughout the day, attendees can celebrate the harvest season under the sun and swaying palms at Las Olas Oceanside Park in a fair-like atmosphere with tasty fall flavors, local vendors, live music, contests, and activities to celebrate Fall’s arrival, Florida-style. Families and well-behaved dogs on leashes are encouraged to dress in costume to capture fun photo moments and prizes. The LOOP has teamed up with Fort Lauderdale Magazine to find the best pie in Greater Fort Lauderdale. Professional and cottage industry bakers are invited to show off their pumpkin spice and everything nice in the Annual Pie Baking Competition. Pies will be judged by flavor, crust, filling, and creativity by some of South Florida’s favorite foodies. In addition to gift cards and prizes, the first, second, and third place winners will have their pies and recipes published in Fort Lauderdale Magazine’s December issue.
