The City of Stoughton recently formed a Sustainability Committee. The committee will be writing a Sustainability Plan, which will consider the long term impact of actions and policies on our community’s environmental, social, and economic health. The sustainability plan will take into account the views and concerns of residents, and the committee seeks your participation! Join the Stoughton Sustainability Committee for an evening of community dialogue as we kick off our public engagement process. During this event, you'll learn about the Sustainability Committee and hear our vision and goals for each of the sustainability plan focus areas: energy, transportation, water, solid waste, land use & development, and community engagement & education. You'll also hear about City sustainability initiatives. Most importantly , the open house is your opportunity to share your ideas for how to make Stoughton a more sustainable city. Get involved!
