SHE BUILDS brings corporate, community leaders and volunteers who are dedicated to advancing the housing and community issues affecting women. Volunteers, homeowners and community members come to the builds with a myriad of experiences and skills to share and learn from one another. SHE BUILDERS can attend the training workshop at Tri-C Community College and a community project in Cleveland or Akron. (Working on a project is optional) SHE BUILDS Workshop Saturday, September 17, 2022 – Tri-College, Metro Campus Keynote Speaker, Ariane Kirkpatrick, President & CEO, The AKA Team, will kick of the morning and day of learning. Workshop includes panel of women leaders in traditionally male dominated industries and opportunity for attendees to attend interactive workshops on carpentry, electric, plumbing, working with contractors, working with tools and painting – all led by women. Saturday, October 1, 2022, 8:30 - noonCleveland Project: DNA RISING. Saturday, October 22, 2022 - 8:30 - noon *$25 fee covers your breakfast, workshop and one project experience. Further event details will be sent out closer to the project days. Rebuilding Together will monitor any potential increase in risk due to the COVID 19 virus and adjust plans as needed.
