In June of '47 George Lima came to Brown. He had a vision in mind. He had a chapter to found!For 75 years, the Theta Epsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. has been a part of the Greater Rhode Island community. The chapter has initiated over 100 men who are just as diverse as that community. Over 100 men who have contributed not only to the Providence area but also impacted communities throughout the world. These gentlemen who entered college as young men have grown into leaders throughout the fields of the culinary arts, medicine, law, business, education, real estate, financing, and government. Whether they lead organizations large or small, they continue to make a difference because two undergraduates along with graduate members took the bold step to establish the Theta Epsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc in Providence, RI on June 27, 1947. So it sounds like a great reason to celebrate and to revel and to have a ball and to live it up and to PAAAAAARRRRTY!Let's get the good vibes and good conversations going at the XYZ Lounge located at the Aloft Hotel on Friday, September 30th. Turn on the music, turn up the competition, and relax as you experience an Omega cook-out unlike any other at the Cold City Cook OWT featuring a BBQ competion and oil spill on Saturday, October 1st.
