Prepare to be inspired! As one of the region’s most celebrated youth ensembles, Washington Performing Arts Children of the Gospel Choir celebrates its 30th anniversary of sharing music with the D.C. metropolitan community and beyond. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Michele Fowlin, the choir has performed at the historic Lincoln Theatre with Matthew Whitaker, at the White House with Sara Bareilles, at the Washington National Cathedral for President Obama’s Inaugural Prayer Service, and at the National Memorial Service for Nelson Mandela.
