ABOUT FUZZBUBBLEThe first ever and only rock artist signed to Sean “P Diddy” Combs’ label Bad Boy/Arista label, But “P Diddy”, with all his personal instability, life drama ,and overall lack of know how when it comes to anything rock n roll, infamously dropped the ball on this killer outfit, and the band left the label due to this incompetence…. However… Before they did, they recorded an amazing album with Guns and Roses Producer Mike Clink, filled with amazingly catchy, and hard rocking power pop Classics. The band managed to gain a spot on a multi selling Soundtrack (1998’s “Godzilla: The Album”) as well as win an MTV Viewer’s Choice award for their guest appearance on the Puff Daddy and the Family rock remix of “It’s All About the Benjamins”…. BUT…. that’s not why people still care about Fuzzbubble…. Luckily, the music is what people remember, and since then, band has had a cult following that has grown over the years. Their brand of catchy, hard rocking power pop, that appeals to anyone with an affinity for The Beatles, Cheap Trick, and melodic rock played loud is the reason people still talk about Fuzzbubble Recently releasing music under the moniker “Cult Stars From Mars”, the band has been active getting back to that style they’re known best for, and bringing some friends into the fold….Superstar drummer Mike Portnoy has thrown down with CSFM, on the songs “Dragonfly Part II” as well as a faithful cover of the 70’s epic hit “Blinded by the Light”, which also features guest appearances by Portnoy’s Sons Of Apollo bandmate, Jeff Scott Soto in an amazing duet with Fuzzbubble/CSFM Vocalist Mark DiCarlo, as well as keyboardist and musical director for Brain Wilson, Darian Sahanaja. To top it all off, Mike Portnoy’s daughter, Melody, added some guest vocals to the track. Both songs have amazing videos to go along with them, with “Blinded” having a guest spot talk up by legendary New York DJ, Carol Miller. With the tragic passing of bassist Brett Rothfeld, the band has decided to start performing again as Fuzzbubble, in no part as a tribute to their fallen friend and bandmate, but also because they love the music they created, and to quote their 2020 song “Dragonfly Part II”…..”you can’t keep a good band down”. No, you certainly can’t…. Catch Fuzzbubble performing at The Garage at Lucy’s in Pleasantville, NY, Friday
