Celebrate Coastal Cleanup Day with The Watershed Project, North Richmond residents and local environmental organizations! We'll kick things off with a cleanup and community science event to remove pollutants from the creek channel near the fish ladder. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and close toed shoes. All cleanup supplies will be provided but we encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle, gloves and a bucket if you have them. After cleaning and recording data, take a break to enjoy refreshments and then learn about plans to restore the fish ladder and improve habitat for fish. We'd love your input!
