Check-in begins at 8:30 am and the Conference begins at 9:00 am, with lunch served at noon. Our day will be jam-packed with inspiring stories from others who have traveled the road you may be walking. At the end of the day, our hope is you will never feel alone again and will rest in knowing you, too, have an unshakeable reason to hope — no matter what your circumstances may be! FEATURED SPEAKERS The event will include the real-life story of author Amy Remer, whose journey includes the loss of a child and a cancer diagnosis that led to the complete amputation of her left arm and shoulder. Christine Sweeney will inspire you to step out of the boat with courage and dare to risk your future and your dreams on God. Crisis counselor Donna Howard will lift the veil of shame off mental health and help you learn how to heal from anxiety, depression, and addiction. Then, brace yourself for a moving message from Pastor Justeina Brownlee as she helps us see the freedom we have in Christ! There is more! Our day will include a special guest appearance from Chris Everett, film star of the Sanctus Real music video “Rebel” — learn how God rescued Chris from a life of extreme addiction, incarceration, and hopelessness, and turned his misery into a ministry. You will be delighted by a special performance from The Rock Youth Singers, and prepare your heart to be swept away by our Worship Band, which will include some of Northwest Ohio’s most influential worship leaders — all coming together for this one special day of worship! Learn from Andrea Gwyn, president of Mercy Health Perrysburg Hospital, on how she lives out her faith as a leader. Then, kick back and relax as we end our day with howls of laughter from the nationally acclaimed comedian Michelle Miller as she shares her quick wit and infectious southern charm! MORE SWEET SURPRISES Your ticket also includes an opportunity for you to step away at any time during the conference day if you need prayer, 1:1 mentoring, or emotional support while you are with us. We will also enjoy wonderful door prizes, a healthy lunch, refreshments, and time for you to browse our many vendor tables! ADELPHÉ SISTER PASSPORTS One of our feature highlights is an invitation to select an "Adelphé Passport" should you like to do so. (Adelphé is Greek for “a Christian sister”). The Adelphé Passports will line the walls of the conference hall and will include a photo and info about another woman you might wish to connect with long after the conference is over. It’s the modern-day version of a real life pen pal! Perhaps you’ll connect over coffee, start a book club, connect over your hobbies, or other creative things, as the Lord leads the two of you to build a friendship. Only the Lord knows — our hope is, even if you came to the conference alone, you will leave with an Adelphé (a Christian sister) who will journey on the sidelines with you as your Unscripted story unfolds.
