With a contagious smile and captivating charm, trumpeter/vocalist Byron Stripling, has ignited audiences internationally. Currently, Stripling serves as Artistic Director of the Columbus Jazz Orchestra. In 2020, he was appointed Principal Pops Conductor of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and will be Principal Guest Conductor for the Philly Pops’ 2022-23 season. Joining Byron onstage will be pianist/organist Bobby Floyd, bassist Andy Woodson and Jim Rupp on drums. COVID Policy Information: At this time, masks are optional at performances in the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts. We encourage our audiences to be fully vaccinated, but will no longer require proof of vaccination to reserve tickets.
