Art in August Day 5 - Sharpie Tie Dye! Students will be given a handmade white zip top pencil or pen pouch. They will draw a design on both sides with permanent colored sharpies, then add a magic ingredient, and watch the magic happen as the colors spread into each other creating a tie dye affect. You now have a pen or pencil pouch handmade by you, ready to start the new school year. Tons of fun! Because this is a rather quick class, students will be given the option to create a mini tapestry wall hanging afterwards. This is a great parent/child class, or siblings, besties, etc. However, that does not mean you or your child can't come solo! This is an OUTDOOR class, but will be moved INDOORS if weather is bad. Face masks optional. All Art in August classes are built for children 6+. The particular activity for the day may not take 2 hours. There will be mindful coloring books and / or other art activities available at end of class for those who lose interest or finish early.
