Description

Desert Mountain Medicine’s Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course is a great introduction to wilderness medicine and basic life support skills. This training focuses on prevention, assessment, and treatment of environmental illnesses, recognizing and stabilizing life threats caused from trauma, and calling for a rescue in the event of a wilderness emergency. Upon successful completion of our WFA, participants will receive the following Desert Mountain Medicine (DMM) Certifications, all valid for 2 years: • Wilderness First Aid (WFA) • CPR (Adult & Child w/ AED) • Wilderness Anaphylaxis Training (WAT) This course is also a part of DMM’s Women’s Wild Med Program (WWMP)!
