NMV Parade of Awareness/ Community Day in the Park

Welcome to No More Violence Organization 11th Anniversary with another great event, Parade of Violence Awareness. The NMV Organization would like to welcome the community to come out and enjoy or be apart of a Parade to help bring awareness of gun violence, human trafficking, mental illness, suicide, domestic violence and suicide. These targeted awareness affects many across the world and our young people are dying from these types of violence. The Organization opens this parade to participants of school bands, cheerleader's, parents, students, colleges, businesses, nonprofits, organizations, bikers, car clubs, social clubs, fraternities, and walkers. The Parade will stage at "South Oak Cliff High School" parking lot (Garza Side) - starting at 8:00 (am) drivers are able to decorate their cars before parade starts at 10:00AM. Participants will drive/walk down Marsalis to Ledbetter to Glendale Park. The NMV Organization will have "Community Day in the Park to provide resources to the community, food, and a ceremony with a Balloon release for families who have loss a child to violence, all free and open to the community.
