Inc. instructor, Sharon Kruk, Partners: The Lufkin Junior League, AC NPLC and AC Student Affairs Living on the Edge is a unique experience designed to help participants understand what life might be like with a shortage of money and an abundance of stress. During the simulation, participants role-play the lives of low-income families as they work to provide food, shelter and other basic necessities during a typical month. A powerful, wrap-up conversation helps participants empathize and understand the struggle of the nearly 20% of people in Angelina County living on the edge.
