What have you been wondering about your rights during your labor and beyond? Join us to get your questions answered! We'll learn about patient rights, discrimination in healthcare, informed consent, bodily autonomy, and more. We'll practice self-advocacy techniques to help you feel prepared for your labor. There will be time to ask any additional questions. All are welcome to attend and there will be opportunities to bring baby items home! Facilitator: Ama Warnock (they/she) is a queer & trans/nonbinary community full-spectrum doula, childbirth educator, peer counselor, and somatic practitioner. Facilitator: Nyhela Irsheid (she/her) is a Black queer full-spectrum doula, certified lactation specialist, and childbirth educator. Registration is required. To register, email [email protected]!
