Description

In this hands-on class, Chef Joe will lead you in making of fresh bratwurst-style sausages such as your standard bratwurst and emulsified sausages like bologna, hot dogs, and mortadella. Additionally, we will discuss the making of loose sausages, such as country-style & breakfast sausages. Skills you will learn in this class: Protein butchering and grinding Equipment usage and prep Casings choices Sausage differences Making the mixture Stuffing and tying Cooking, packaging, and storage You will not only learn and experience the process but also be able to taste your delicious results. This class is a skills class and although there will be some food served, mostly what you make, this class does not include an entire meal. The cost for this class is $65/person No refunds or credits will be given if canceled within 72 hours of the event. Please notify us if you have any allergies. Adjustments can not be made during class. The kitchen is thoroughly sanitized before each class. Hand washing stations are located throughout the kitchen. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to give us a call at 864-250-0091 What to Expect: In this class, Chef Joe will teach you how to prepare all items. This is a hands-on class, and you will have the opportunity to participate in some of the preparation if you wish to do so. Please be prepared at check-in with your ID if you will have wine. Class participants will receive 20% off in-store purchases on the day of class (some exclusions may apply). You will have 30 minutes before and after the class to shop.
