Alice is a lonely 12 year old who lives with her mother and her sister. When her sister is found brutally murdered at her first holy communion, suspicions turn toward Alice. A cult classic slasher! These films are intentionally picked with a focus on the struggle, rise, and triumph of empowered (and sometimes crazy) women. At Ladies Night we will view and analyze the complex dynamics, common tropes, and stereotypes of women in genre films and how they’re depicted on the big screen.
