Performing Art : A play “Eyes Fus Member” or “When I First Remember” That use songs, dialog, Gullah stories and African drumming to tell the story of how the enslaved people made it over. All of this helping to make Old Bethel a destination for visitors coming to Charleston “If you can’t go to Africa come to Charleston” and discovery a people and their connection to Africa . Old Bethel Series keeping a National monument financially stable and bring history alive for all to see , hear and be apart of .  The season run from May  - October presenting and all performace and/or tours are by reservation. The Series is present during the following events Moja Festval , Picolo Spilato, and will be open for the weekend of the new International African Americam Museum in January tickets go n sale in October.
