Greatness of Gospel XV: Elevation will be on the newly renovated Mixxed Magic Amplified Theatre. Join us in an afternoon of joy and excellence.
Mixed Magic Theatre’s cofounder Ricardo Pitts-Wiley formed the acclaimed Exult Choir
in 2006 with the mission to preserve, celebrate and honor the great American tradition
of gospel music and its forebearers, in particular Annye R. Pitts and Barbara Bryant.
Each year since then the choir has presented concert events that feature a collection of
songs that include Negro spirituals, traditional hymns, and the gospel music that would
later influence blues, jazz, rhythm and blues, and rock music. This year talented music
director Kim Pitts-Wiley has chosen an intoxicating and eclectic array of songs that
cover the full spectrum of gospel music, world music, and contemporary songs with a
spiritual flare. The Exult Choir is celebrating an exemplary 15 years !
Mixed Magic Theatre's acclaimed Exult Choir is one of New England’s most popular and
