The Disco Dolls Gallery is proud to present artist Laura Eve and her show “I’m Obsessed” as our inaugural show in our new space. “I’m Obsessed “ Locally sourced from anxiety-crafted journals, I’m Obsessed explores the millennial state of mind. Hyper-femme and colorful drawings bring a whimsical light to the dark themes of burnout, perfectionism, and mental health. Join us and Laura on August 25th from 6pm- 9pm for the opening being held during the monthly event “Heightened Senses” block party. Laura Eve is literally obsessed! 💕Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, characterized by constant repetitive thoughts, has been a fundamental part of her life for as long as she can remember. In June of 2021, she received treatment for her disability at Rogers Behavioral Health, and has learned how to harness her powers for much better functioning in the daily struggle.™️ Laura Eve is a multimedia artist based in Seminole Heights, and has displayed at several galleries in the Tampa Bay Area. She is a member of the United Houma Nation, a tribe native to Louisiana. “I’m Obsessed” will be on display in the Gallery until October 5th 2022.
