I'm struggling SO BAD that I am salivating heavily, pacing back and forth, and repeatedly digging at my water dish, making my paws red and raw. It is inhumane to keep me here in this condition! Will you help save my life? I’m a 7-yr-old, neutered, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier (48 lbs.). Sadly, the family that owned me for 6 years lost their home and had to surrender me. I'm great with adults, children, crate-trained, and know how to use a doggie door. I was a little protective of my food, so feed me separately. At the shelter, I have been a little timid at first but given time to warm up, I become VERY friendly. When I see dogs in a neighboring play yard, I play bow, trying to get them to interact with me. I love splashing in a kiddie pool and like treats, but I’m a little grabby when taking them. I have VERY little time left to live. I need someone to come meet me before it’s too late…please bring the family along. Once out of this noisy, chaotic place, I will need time to relax and calm down. I want to live!
