Advance and Earn at Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow is now accepting applications for our upcoming September cohort that begins September 6th. Our program is free to everyone between 16-24 who are not working or in school that is focused on providing preparation and placement for taking the GED exam, Targeted skills training for the medical administrative field, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, and paid internship opportunities! Spacing is very limited. Applicants are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Our program is broken up into starter level programming and advanced level programming. Below is some information on the program overall and how to apply. GED & Pre-GED classes: 20 week program Monday - Thursday 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Classes based off placement into programming Pre-GED participants receive a stipend of $150 each week based on their attendance GED participants will instead do a paid internship beginning after they've earned a certification in either the medical or entrepreneurship fields Internship is paid minimum wage for up to 250 hours GED participants will be given a seat for the GED test upon completion of classes if they are ready Job placement assistance or college entrance assistance upon completion of program Digital Marketing: 20 week program Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 5:00 Must have high school diploma or GED Must be between 18-24 Can not have a college degree, however credits are acceptable Participants will learn and utilize Search engine optimization, analytics, creation of content, domain hosting, and photoshop Paid internship will begin in week 7 of programming once classes have been completed Participants will receive additional support with work or continuing into college
