NFL Hall of Famer Isaac Bruce announced that he is hosting a Celebrity BBQ to raise funds for Flight 300. The Isaac Bruce Foundation’s Flight 300 Program provides transportation to college-bound students in need. When Isaac graduated high school, he had a scholarship to a junior college in California, but he needed to find a way to get there. He was provided money for a flight and is now making that difference for students in need. Isaac Bruce will be hosting a Celebrity BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 in Parkland, Florida. This event is supported by The NFLPA South Florida and sponsored by Victor George Vodka, IAA Private Wealth Advisors,Keen Water,Duke and Dame, Get Fit Mining and BBTF Token.Tickets can be purchased on eventbrite or at the door. The event will include food, music/ entertainment and a silent auction.
“ In 2021, we provided transportation for a record 178 students. Expenses for the program including flights, ground transportations, bags, and gift cards for bedding, towels, and personal hygiene items were $68,976. In 2022, the program has continued to grow exponentially and we will be providing transportation for 328 students this year. The total cost for the program in 2022 is $159,415.97.”, said Isaac Bruce, Pro NFL Hall of Famer
The Isaac Bruce Foundation is committed to helping each qualified student receive transportation and not turning anyone away. The average cost per student including airfare, ground transportation, checking bags, and a gift card for essentials is approximately $486. In 2022, American Airlines donated 4,000,000 miles to help with the cost of flights.
