This month's Hands on History - Dinosaurs Galore! Did you know that Dinosaurs once roamed here in the Culpeper area? Young paleontologists will explore the world of dinosaurs with stories, games, and crafts. Join us for a DINO-MITE morning on Tuesday, September 20!
Hands on HIstory is the museum's interactive series of children's programming that brings fun facts, objects, and activities out of the past to your family today!
The series, targeted at ages 2-5, will be held monthly. Each month will feature a different craft inspired by local history. Past programs have included flying kites, drawing maps, and playing games.
There is no admission fee for this program. Please reserve your spot today! Space is limited.
For more information, contact Jayne Hall, Museum Educator, at [email protected] or call 540-829-1749. Admission to these programs is FREE thanks to funding from the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative through a Power of Change grant.
