Description
Join Capital Nature co-founder Stella Tarnay for a leisurely walk under the trees of Mt. Pleasant in the late summer light. We’ll appreciate their beauty and stop along the way to meet notable local trees. You’ll learn a few new species names, hear about their connection to area ecology, and learn a bit of local tree lore along the way. This is a small group reprise of Capital Nature's June walk - we'll notice how the trees have changed and developed over the course of the summer.
Capital Nature is a Washington DC-based nonprofit with a mission to bring nature into the lives of area residents and visitors. We offer unique nature experiences, information about local nature activities in a regional calendar, and advice on nature-based strategies for wellbeing.
