After a 2-year hiatus, the City of Aurora and the Aurora Hispanic Heritage Advisory Board will host the 2022 Fiestas Patrias festival on September 17 & 18 at RiverEdge Park in Aurora, IL.
This family-friendly event will feature some of the area’s finest food vendors, arts and crafts, carnival, and diverse music entertainment. Two music headliners will close out each night of the festival. Saturday night's headliner will be 6-time Grammy-winning Cuban Reggaeton Duo, Gente De Zona, and Sunday will feature Jalisco technobanda, Banda Machos. See below for the entertainment lineup for each day.
Tickets for the event will be $10.00 for each day while supplies last. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the park until all tickets are sold.
The carnival will have no admission charge and will be located in Lot W, 309 North River St. Additional food vendors will be located at Wilder Park Promenade on the corner of North River Street and Vine St.
Proceeds from the fest will go towards scholarships that assist college-bound students of Hispanic American descent who reside in Aurora. Scholarships are administered through the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley. For more information about the event, visit Aurora Fiestas Patrias
