Just like a clothing swap, a fabric destashing event is a place where you can bring your fabric, yarns, fibers, and notions to swap for new items! Everything at the end of the evening that is not swapped will be donated to Thistle Creative Reuse in Denton. What to swap: Fabric scrapsFabrics by the yardSewing Notions (thimbles, scissors, needles, buttons, tools, ect.)Yarn (please ensure all yarn is already wound into balls or neatly organized)Fibers (tufting, roving materials, ect)Patterns If you have a question on materials, you can contact the organizer! Rules for the swap: If you bring items to swap, it is free admission! If you do not have items to swap, thats okay! A suggested donation amount to a local nonprofit will be asked upon entryBringing your own bags for swapping are suggested, but if you forget, one will be provided for you. Take what you need. While there is no limit to what you can take, please only take what you need. This is a destashing event after all! Please do not make messes of the tables. Our volunteers will be working hard to keep things organized and sorted for a happy swapping experience.
