Join us on September 8th, 2022 from 5-7pm at the Farmhouse where experts from Operation Rose nonprofit will be hosting a Workshop Against Human Trafficking. Operation Rose will be teaching us about human trafficking in our community and how to stop it. Topics they will go over include: ● About us/Overview ● Prevalence of human trafficking in Nashville ● Myths ● How to identify human trafficking ● How to report and who to report to ● How to keep your children safe ● Apps/Social Media ● Tactics used to traffic your child Operation Rose is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to educate, prevent and combat human trafficking in Middle TN. They have trained several schools in the area such as JPII, Goodpasture and Lightbridge Academy, as well as several hotels and motels in the Nashville area. Operation Rose is also hosting a 5K in Durham Farms on October 8th, so mark your calendars! Our neighbors Seth and Truman Carelli help run the nonprofit and are hosting both events.
