TARGET AUDIENCE: Social Workers, Counselors/Therapists, Nurses and Other Interested Health and Human Service Professionals PROGRAM DESCRIPTION This one-day program will focus on several mental health issues such as Addiction, Hoarding, Aging Families, Dissociative Identity Disorder and Juvenile Onset of Bipolar Disorder. The goal of this program is to increase awareness and provide healthcare professionals the knowledge and tools to provide quality care to clients with mental health issues. PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon completion of this program, 90% of the participants will demonstrate a better understanding of the mental health issues discussed and learn to provide appropriate treatments/ assistance to their clients. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT You must attend 90% of each of the educational session and complete the evaluation to receive CE credit for the entire program. No partial credit will be awarded Nurses: This educational activity has been awarded 5.5 contact hours SRHS Corporate Education is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Social Workers: This program has been approved for 1.0 trained hours and 4.5 hours of continuing education by SRHS Corporate Education under its accreditation by the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners. Counselors: This program has been approved for 5.5 hours of continuing education by SRHS Corporate Education under its accreditation by the state of South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors, Marital and Family Therapists, and Psycho Educational Specialists. Others: This program provides 5.5 hours of continuing education. INSTRUCTIONS to complete the On-line Program Evaluation and to obtain the CE Certificate will be provided by 3-4 business days after the event. The program evaluation must be completed by Thursday, October 27, 2022.
