The Pacific Coast Championships Tennis Association (PCCTA) welcomes you to our 10 and UNDER JUNIOR TENNIS TOURNAMENT in conjunction with the 2022 FALL RACQUET & PADDLE FESTIVAL in Long Beach, CA, Friday September 2nd through Sunday, September 4th!  We look forward to hosting regional and national competitive players at this event. For our Little Ones, 10 and Under, this is a NON-SANCTIONED Round Robin Tournament using the GREEN DOT BALL. There will be an optional Friday (9/2) check-in at the host hotel, Staybridge Inn & Suites, 2680 N Lakewood Blvd, Long Beach 90815 in the MALIBU/LAGUNA MEETING ROOM. Use this time to pick up your tournament gift bag and t-shirt, and to familiarize yourself with the weekend activities. Early Check-in will be from 5-6pm. Next, at 6:00pm, we will host our famous COLLEGE NIGHT where kids and their parents will have a1.5 hour ZOOM conference with Tennis Coaches from HBCU Colleges. Each Coach will talk about the benefits their school has to offer and give interested kids tips on how to get scholarships and to get access to career opportunities, even outside of the Professional Tennis Circuit. A live Question & Answer period is followed by Food & Refreshments for all and a POOL PARTY for the kids. THE COST OF THIS EVENT IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEES. STANDARDS OF CONDUCT Players, persons who appear to be associated with a player (including, but not limited to, parents and coaches), officials, and organizers of any tournament are under a duty to encourage and maintain high standards of proper conduct, fair play, and good sportsmanship. They are under an obligation to avoid acts that may be considered detrimental to the game of tennis. Detrimental acts include, but are not limited to, the acts set forth in USTA Regulation IV.C (Standards of Conduct). Friend at Court Players must adhere to The Code . DRESS CODE POLICY The USTA So Cal Staff and all officials of this event would like to inform the players of our expectations of proper attire while competing in this tournament: ALL PLAYERS: No reference to drugs, violence, alcohol, or foul language may be depicted on player attire. GIRLS: No sports bras or compression garments of any kind are to be worn alone; midriff must be covered when arms are at rest, and spandex shorts or capris must be covered by additional shorts or skirt. BOYS: No cut off t-shirts or cut off shorts. Sleeveless tennis shirts may be worn.
