I am Matty J, a lead guitarist seeking a blues-rock band to focus on a heavy soul-crushing sound. The style I have in mind is a combination of Jimi Hendrix-Band of Gypsies mixed with the brooding grooves of doom, sprinkled with some beautiful chords. I am competent with music theory and only ask that you understand the basics so that we can communicate, improvise and compose.
