Mrs. Dianne Dodson Black is running for congress in Mississippi's First Congressional District. We recognize her accomplishment and the accomplishments of others by having a pop up exhibit recognizing firsts in Mississippi's First Congressional District. The district includes Alcorn, Benton, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Clay, DeSoto, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee, Lowndes, Marshall, Monroe, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tate, Tippah, Tishomingo, Union, and Webster counties with a portion of Oktibbeha County. Exhibit spaces for firsts in The First Congressional District are given preference. Exhibitors, "The Firsts" will set up a table sharing memorabilia including news paper articles, pictures, documents, etc. The public is welcomed to learn about and meet firsts!
