About the event: Please join us as we host Sundiata Ameh-El, owner of Compost Community, for a talk about the importance of compost and soil building. Sample veggies grown in nutrient-rich compost and prepared in our own kitchen. About Sundiata and Compost Community: Compost Community is a network of urban professionals dedicated to strengthening the local food supply in the Tallahassee and Big Bend area. We are involved in building communities, encouraging and strengthening new and existing partnerships, protecting the environment, reducing waste streams from businesses and residents and having FUN doing it! At Compost Community, we are focused on providing collection services of organic waste materials with the highest levels of customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.
