Join Wee Macree for a family-friendly event where kids can experience how fun it is to give-back + do good!Families are invited to an immersive charitable experience of kids helping kids! Children will meet 3 nonprofits that serve babies + kids in need in Tampa Bay, and participate in meaningful + creative giveback activities like: a food drive + interactive activity with Feeding Tampa Bay.a collaborative art creation with a resident artist from TRIBE Seminole Heights.a mock baby shower for NICU babies with High Risk Hope.Ticketed reservations are required for children only and include ice cream from Dairy Joy, a baby gift for the "shower," and all crafts and activities. Tickets do not include adult ice cream nor items for the food drive. Please see the following list of needs requested by Feeding Tampa Bay: Canned Foods: - Fruits & Vegetables - Meats & Beans - Soups & Meals Dry Goods & Boxed Meals - Rice & Beans - Pasta & Sauces - Condiments - Snacks Breakfast Items - Cereal, Oatmeal & Grits - Granola Bars PLEASE DO NOT DONATE: Items Missing Ingredient Label Items Expired for 2 Years+ Items with Opened or Broken Seals Items with Major Packaging Damage Baking & Cooking Items - Oils & Vinegars - Spices & Marinades Beverages - Shelf Stable Milk - Bottled Water - Sodas & Juices - Drink Powders Non-Food Items - Ziploc Bags - Hygiene Items - Cleaning Products Canned Foods: - Rusted - Swollen or Inflated Wee Macree shirts will be available for purchase including those that giveback to the 3 nonprofits in attendance. Upon arrival to the event: overflow parking is available across the street at Jan Platt Public Library. All ticketed guests should check-in to receive an ice cream pass. Children should visit each nonprofit table to participate in activities and crafts to learn more about children's needs in Tampa Bay from newborns and up!
