What's up drummers of Denver!? We're Denver-based psychedelic rock trio Moonlight Bloom, currently seeking a drummer. We are an original band with established gigging reputation/relationships in Denver and the regional area. We've toured all over CO state as well as a number of out-of-state regions (Montana; Idaho; New Mexico; Nebraska; Kansas; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Michigan... etc). We have been building momentum after the pandemic and hope to keep that train rolling. We have a studio effort in the works as well as frequent gig opportunities coming in, so we are looking for a committed band member to help this project continue to grow. The band lineup up to this point has been a traditional trio - guitar, bass, drums - playing "psychedelic rock" which comes out as a unique mixture of rock, jazz, ambient, and blues, with a strong basis in improvisation. Everywhere from fast to slow, heavy to sentimental, our music aims to transfix and captivate our audience. We're looking for a dynamic, controlled drummer that has experience and comfort in all those areas and who will be able/willing to start gigging relatively regularly with some travel. We're seeking a long-term band member and comrade in music, not just a per-gig hire looking for work. We have a home studio space in our basement (South Denver) where we rehearse, write, record, jam, hang - so we're ready to go.
