Custom Float Services is an established maritime construction company, specializing in the design, construction, and installation of quality built, long lasting floating dock systems and residential piers. We are currently seeking an individual to fill a full time position as a Boat Operator/Laborer on our water crew. This position will involve the seasonal installation and take-out of residential floats and gangways, and municipal marinas. Typical work days involve boat travel through Casco Bay, the use of winches and other lifting equipment, and some light carpentry. Work days are tidal and weather dependent and can run long in the busy part of the season. The ability to work safely, problem solve, and work as a team are extremely important. Working knowledge of boats is especially important. Our fleet includes two Carolina skiffs, an aluminum Pacific, and a 28' lobster boat.
