We are a new church (Journey Church - https://www.thisisjourney.church), meeting at Sk8 House in Lynnhaven in Virginia Beach and we are looking to contract various musicians to play for us on Sundays no matter where you are with God, whether you believe in him or have questions about him or aren’t even sure if he exists.
We’d love to connect with you about potentially playing for us on a Sunday. The set list consists mainly of 2-3 worship songs we would give you in advance to practice, but we will often cover songs by bands/singers like Papa Roach, Tayler Swift, Ed Sheeran, and the White Stripes. Usually, a set consists of 3 songs total. We use in-ear monitors and play to a click. We also don’t use music stands so we show up knowing our parts. Our call time is 7am Sunday morning for setting up with sound check at 8am and a run-through, leading up to service from 9:45-10:45am, then we tear down and head out at around 11:30am.
