Community Church of the Verdes In-Person Sunday Worship
Friends,
As you are aware, coronavirus numbers are rising in the United States and in our area. Your community leaders are working together to make sure we stay as safe as possible here. In particular, the Board of Trustees of Community Church of the Verdes is committed to both our core functions as a church and also our safety.
With regard to our core function of worship, we want to share with you these things.
One thing we will continue to do is make live streaming of the service available each week on our website. You may view the service live or at a later time.
We also remind folks to wear a mask at all times in worship.
Hand sanitizer stations are always available in the narthex.
Social distancing is requested.
Further, we will have two services on Christmas Eve, one at 7 and one at 9. Each service will be the same with music, sermon, and candle lighting.
Two new requests are these:
1) There will be a limit of 130 persons in church for any service starting Sunday, December 6th.
2) We ask that anyone traveling into the community who has not observed a 10 day quarantine not attend our church services for the time being. We also request that community residents with visitors traveling from out of town observe the 10 day rule as well. As noted above, all services are streamed for viewing live or at a later time.
We look forward to an end to coronavirus and the availability of an effective and safe vaccine for all.
In Christ,
Bob Dietsche, Board President,
Cheryl Wenthe, Worship Committee Chairperson
