NOW HIRING: Part Time Handy-Person for general maintenance and upkeep of newly renovated storage facility on Industrial Loop, Midland TX. Part time, three days/week up to 20 hours/week. Suggested Shift: 11am to 4pm (5 hours per day) on Mon, Thurs, Fri. Opportunity for more hours as facility fills up and company expands (discussed in phone interview). Shift Duties may include: Sweep/Blow-out storage units to prep for customer move-ins. Placing a Free Lock inside storage units for new customer move-ins (locks provided by company). Remove trash from storage units or property upon customer move-out (all dump fees paid by company). Inspecting storage units for signs of pests or damages upon customer move-out. Security walks (check all empty units are customer-ready, and all rented units are secure). Report Security Issues in real-time to Office Staff via Text Messages and photos. Other duties as needed: Troubleshoot and Repair doors/ frames/ latches/ fencing. Meeting Tenants to provide locks or Troubleshoot Gates/doors. General Upkeep of Buildings/Properties (painting, replacing latches, removing trash/weeds) Light Landscaping between our Monthly Services. Installing New Latches on Storage Units doors. Other tasks as needed. Requirements: Self-starter, Reliable, Honest, Able to work alone. Working Knowledge of Power Tools such as drills, leaf blower, weed eater, etc. Ability to Lift at least 40 pounds. Reliable transportation (must have own truck, we pay gas weekly) Ability to follow Lists and complete all Tasks in a timely manner with little direction. Ability to confirm projects by texting photos to group text message threads. On-Call Availability a Plus! Landscaping experience/tools a Plus! Welding experience/tools a Plus! Electrical experience/licensing a Plus! Pay DOE. Background Check and Drug Test will be required. Salary: From $14.00 per hour (or DOE) Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule
