Role Overview: Apex Companies is a nationally recognized environmental consulting firm and the national leader in Stormwater Management. As a Construction Technician 3, you are key to our success.  In this role, you would perform landscaping and hardscaping on residential properties throughout the Denver-Metro area. ​​ If you have prior experience as a Construction Laborer, Heavy Equipment Operator, Landscaper, Maintenance Technician, Welder, or in a position within the construction industry, we encourage you to apply. Your Responsibilities as a Construction Technician 3: - Perform landscaping, light construction, and maintenance repairs for properties as directed. - Work in the field on active construction sites, and urban landscapes.  - Operate landscaping and light construction equipment. - Learn stormwater management techniques. - Observe safe work practices. - Complete written field reports. - Ability to work with hand tools. - Ability to lift and carry 60 pounds - Strong verbal communication. What we're looking for: - GED or High School Diploma. - 6 mos to 5 years of any of the following: landscaping, general construction, repair and/or construction of stormwater infrastructure, or grounds maintenance, preferred​​​​​​. - Able to perform manual labor. - Ability to Lift up to 60lbs - Landscaping/Construction - Work in Inclement Weather - Comfortable using pickups/equipment trailers. - Good driving record and valid driver's license is preferred. - Thorough understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations Must be able to perform the basic functions of bending physically, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, and hearing. Must be able to perform work exerting up to up to 60 pounds of force; and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must possess visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to operate machines and tools such as mowers and weed whackers to perform tasks. Able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
