Help!!!! We've got the work. We've got most of the team assembled, we just need to find the last member to keep everything running smoothly. Is it you? Experience a plus, but not required. We are a busy shop looking to hire a full time person to help assemble engraved items and help customers. If you don't have experience, don't worry, it's not rocket science. If you can use a screwdriver, you should be fine. What we seek: Ability to multitask - The phones ring, the fax machine goes off (yes we still have a fax), email comes in, people have questions and thanks to Murphy, it all happens at the same time - but juggling is no sweat. An understanding of the concept: honest pay for honest work - believe it or not, we are a for profit business and have orders that need to be fulfilled....that is why we are placing this ad. Presence of a funny bone (or two) - sometimes all we can do is laugh....preferably about something or someone other than me. A yearning to satisfy every customer - well maybe that's a bit overboard, but they do pay our bills and want to be treated a certain way and whenever possible, we like to exceed their expectations. Wherewithal to cross the street by yourself and if it's not too much trouble, get your own work done - we have too much of our own stuff to do...that's why we need you. A little about us: Fun work environment where you do not dread coming to work - except when it's really cold out, the car won't start and there is even traffic in your driveway. Family atmosphere where people actually care about one another - and probably know way too much about each other. Minimal overtime and no weekend work - unless you are trying to avoid your family and just need a place to hide. Full time position in a brick and mortar building. No telecommuting, osmosis, or telepathy allowed. A boss who doesn't take himself too seriously - even though I have an MBA and other fancy degrees, I think I am the butt of most of the jokes around here. Nice customers who are happy to be placing orders - for the most part. We do get the occasional crab apple every once in awhile but the trap door takes care of them. A busy place where you will never be bored - everyone does a little bit of everything depending on what needs to be done, if that makes sense. Summer BBQs with good food - if Tom doesn't burn the hot dogs. Good pay - or so I am told. You've made it this far in this ad and either love me or hate me. I apologize if the tone has rubbed you the wrong way and if so, WE ARE NOT FOR YOU! If you are just looking to pass the time, talk/text on your cell phone, IM your friends and/or sit on a tabletop to ensure it doesn't run away and believe you should still collect a paycheck, please reply to one of the many other fine ads on this site. WE ARE NOT FOR YOU! This is a special place and we are only looking for the best people to give our clients the greatest experience possible. This is not a SCAM, a job site, MLM, outside sales or anything like that. This is a physical business selling actual products to the federal government, corporations and associations that is over 70 years old and we are only looking for full time people with more positive traits than just being able to fog a mirror.
