We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Maintenance Technician for our portfolio of properties The importance of this function is often overlooked, yet our customers level of satisfaction is often determined by our ability to deliver quality maintenance on the properties they own The Maintenance Technician will be assigned a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs and projects, with a focus on the areas of expertise the Technician possesses. Great at construction? We have projects that will utilize those skills. Have a working knowledge around Plumbing? Perfect, we have repairs and turnover work that will utilize your abilities Want to learn new maintenance skills? Even better! We offer training to help build your skill set to become the best Maintenance Technician you can be Our Maintenance Technicians will interact with tenants, investors, tradespeople and clients, each with different needs and requests. Responsibilities Provide basic maintenance for managed properties as assigned Perform and provide exceptional quality work and services Perform work in a timely manner After-hours calls and site visits as necessary Other duties as assigned Qualifications 1-2 years’ experience Handyman certification preferred but not required Specific certifications such as lead based paint certified, fair housing etc a plus and will influence compensation Ability to prepare, write and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff General maintenance and repair knowledge Willingness to learn Must provide own tools necessary for basic maintenance functions and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided) Company provided vehicle is a strong possibility, but not guaranteed Compensation based on experience and demonstrated skill set
