I have a black female Great Dane with white markings. She will be 2 years old in may. She has never been bred. She is NOT fixed. She is embark health tested.she was dewormed a month ago and flea/tick pill a couple days ago. She has Full akc papers I paid $3,000 for her. I would ask for half that but given her flaws im asking for even less than half of that half. Her problems…. -she is super hyper -she can slip off any collar/harness -she chews up chain link -she can jump fences and will if she gets bored enough … All that being said I am no longer in a position where she can be kept indoors (she was housebroke) but now she’s having to stay outside and she has messed up 3 kennels already (was brand new) and I’ve tried putting concrete blocks and plywood and everything I can think of around the kennel to contain her inside (because she jumps the fence) but she still manages to get out. We let her out of the kennel daily to run off energy in the fence (while we can supervise her) but it isn’t enough for her apparently. She is also microchipped. The neighbors have threatened to kill her if she gets loose again and I do not want that happening. we’ve even tried putting her on a runner in the kennel that’s inside the fence and it’s not even working to contain her. Please don’t bash me I’m doing the best we can with her and now I’m trying to find her a better suited family. She easily knocks down kids and will knock you out with her tail as well. She means well but she’s just getting to much for us. She is missing some fur from where the fleas still bite her (before dying as she has taken a monthly flea pill but fleas are heavy in our yard we’ve tried treating for them) and also where she keeps escaping thru the chain link it rips some of her hair out since she refuses to stay inside. We love this dog and I’ve reached out to trainers but we believe it’s in her best interest to find a home where they can have her inside and watch her she doesn’t jump the fence when we are outside with her.
