We are seeking landscape CREW LEADERS to join our team of professional landscapers. Pay rate is $20 - $25 per hour. We are located in Ashland, VA. Work Schedule: - We work Monday - Friday, weather dependent. 7:00 start time. - You will average 40-50 hours a week from March through December and 30 hours a week during the months of January and February - If we work on Saturdays, we ask for volunteers - so it is not required - We only work Sundays during snow and ice events Job Requirements: - Have a good attitude - Be on time - Have a good work ethic - Be coachable - Be ready to learn and follow directions - Have a desire to be part of a winning team with a great culture **BWS Landscaping is a drug-free workplace. The position requires: · Sitting, standing, walking on level and slippery surfaces, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, grasping, and making repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties. · Both near and far vision when inspecting work. · The need to occasionally lift, carry and push tools, equipment, and supplies weighing 50 pounds or more. · Possibly working in all weather conditions, including wet, hot and cold. · Climbing ladders, operating motorized equipment, working in heavy vehicle traffic conditions, and often working with constant interruptions This is a full-time hourly position.
