Large and Reputable Commercial Roofing Company has IMMEDIATE openings for current projects!!! Duties and Responsibilities for Commercial Roofing Laborer: Cutting and fitting insulation boards on commercial roofs Handles and distributes materials. Tear-off and disposal of existing roofing materials and other debris. General clean-up of work area, picks up tools and equipment and secures job site to eliminate potential hazards. Utilizes material handling equipment, operates electric hand tools, sets-up and utilizes safety equipment. Basic roof system lay-up and installation, slip sheets and insulation boards, membrane placement, placement and installation of insulation and membrane fasteners, adhesive application at membrane and flashing, miscellaneous fastening and terminations. Working with screw guns and maneuvering 35-40 lbs. Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Project work Skills and Qualifications for Commercial Roofing Laborer: Must have OWN reliable transportation for travel to worksites CANDIDATES WITH A BACKGROUND OR SKILLS IN ANY KIND OF CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING FRAMING, SIDING, DRYWALL AND OTHER TRADES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Job Details for Commercial Roofing Laborer: M-F 7am - 3:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm Duration: 2 months in LEBANON with the possibility of moving to the next commercial project in Salem that will last 4-5 months $21-22 DOE. Will consider paying a higher wage as well depending on the amount of construction and/or roofing experience you bring to the table. **Bring tool buckets, water jugs, sunscreen, appropriate shoes & clothing. Gloves are probably a good idea if hands are not tough.
