Location: Birmingham, AL Division: Roadrunner RR-AL-BIR-MAN-LOTOPS #186S Job Scope: Operate vehicles (driving, parking and staging) in support of sale day events and general auction operations. Includes movement of vehicles to, from and on auction property as well as local car dealerships if necessary. Locate, prepare, perform basic services and operate vehicles (driving, parking, and staging) in support of sale day events and general operations. Job Responsibilities: Operate and park all vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with all applicable company policies Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as requested and locate “lost” vehicles Place labels on vehicles if needed Coordinate assistance when a vehicle is inoperable or needs service or gas Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale day Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed including inflating tires or jump-starting vehicles using a battery box and air tank when necessary Assist with maintaining lot area when necessary Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required. Successful completion of background check and drug test Must own a smartphone and be comfortable using electronic handheld devices Ability to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
