JACKKNIFE COMEDY is a rad monthly stand-up show on the third Sunday of every month at Q.E.D. in Astoria, hosted and produced by two dummies from Iowa, Gideon Hambright and Patrick Hastie. Every month they pick their favorite comedians to come to Queens and do a set. This month’s comedians: Erich Laux (GILDA’S LAUGHFEST) Bobbi Elfie (ATLANTIC CITY COMEDY CLUB) Jim McVeigh (S.F. SKETCHFECT) Bruno Ifebi (BROOKLYN COMEDY COLLECTIVE) Ross Parsons (BRIDGETOWN COMEDY FESTIVAL) Alison Klemp (KEITH AND THE GIRL) Marcela Onyango (FEEL THE NEWS) The long-running JACKKNIFE COMEDY started in Brooklyn in 2014 and has been featured in dozens of comedy festivals all around the country, and a special Los Angeles show was done at the famed Meltdown Comics in 2017.
